Event Graphics

Synapse is a tech and science conference in India, anchored by Shoma Chaudhury. The event delves into nuanced narratives surrounding human existence and the evolving role of technology, with speakers ranging from technologists and scientists to philosophers and artists. Some of the key speakers this year include Thomas Friedman, Adam Gazzaley, John Cryan, Liz Parrish, and more. The event graphics and films created for Synapse were designed to visually capture these thought-provoking themes, transforming complex ideas into dynamic and engaging visuals. The animations and graphics enhanced the overall experience, allowing the audience to connect with these powerful discussions and explore the intersection of technology, society, and the future.

One of this year’s standout sessions featured neuroscientist and entrepreneur Adam Gazzaley, diving into the messy, fascinating relationship between humans and technology — digital medicine, shrinking attention spans, neuroprivacy, and what it means to think, feel, and focus in a wired world. Translating those ideas into visuals was fast-paced, layered, and creatively wide open.

Shoma Chaudhury, Director & Founder Synapse

In his session, Adam Gazzaley explored the tension between our brain’s evolutionary wiring and the demands of today’s digital world — a vital conversation in the age of AI. He asked: are we building technology to expand human potential, or just because we can? Instead, he offered a different vision — one where experiential medicine, gamified therapeutics, and purpose-driven technology to help train the brain, not replace it.

Ancient brains, digital worlds, and the attention we trade in between.
The stage visuals were designed to echo that same tension, through layered and abstract graphics to capture the mental noise we all navigate daily. It’s always a rewarding process to understand and ideate on these pressing topics with Synapse.
